What the site provides

The site offers free converters, reference charts and guides for turning minutes and clock times into decimal hours and back. There is no account, subscription or payment. Features and pages may be added, changed or removed at any time.

Relying on the results

Results are calculated by arithmetic in your browser, and every page's figures are checked automatically before the site is published, as described on the About page. Even so, check any result before you use it to pay people, bill clients, file taxes or meet a legal requirement.

The site is not payroll, tax or legal advice. How working time may be recorded or rounded depends on your employer's policy and the law that applies to you. Pages that describe a rule link to its source; the source, not this site, is the authority.

Acceptable use

Please do not:

• interfere with the site's performance, availability or security;
• send automated traffic at a volume that disrupts the site for others;
• try to access systems or data you are not authorised to access;
• use the site in a way that breaks the law.

Using the content

You are free to use the results you calculate here, and to print the charts for personal use or for use inside your own organisation. The site's text, design, charts and the Minutes to Decimal name belong to the site. Please do not republish substantial parts of the site as your own or sell them.

Other services and links

The site links to outside sources, such as government regulations and software help pages, and relies on outside services, including Google Analytics, Google Fonts and Cloudflare, as set out in the privacy policy. Those sites and services are run by others and have their own terms; this site is not responsible for their content or availability.

No warranty

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows. There is no guarantee that it will always be available, uninterrupted or free of errors.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from using the site or relying on its results, including errors in pay, invoices or records that were not checked before use.

These terms may be updated. When they are, the date at the top of this page changes, and continuing to use the site after that means you accept the updated terms.
