Values you type into the converters
The converters and diagrams do their arithmetic with scripts that run on your device. The minutes, times and decimals you enter are not transmitted to this site or stored by it. The "Copy result" button places the result on your own device's clipboard, and "Print this chart" uses your browser's print dialog.
Your display setting
If you switch between the dark and light theme, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under the name theme so the next page opens the same way. It stays on your device and is not a cookie. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
Google Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google, to understand how the site is used: which pages are viewed and how visitors reach them. Google Analytics collects this through a script on each page and the cookies below.

Google states that in Google Analytics 4, IP addresses are not logged or stored. This site does not send Google Analytics your name, email address or any other information that identifies you.

To stop Google Analytics collecting data in your browser, install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or block cookies for this site in your browser settings. The converters keep working either way.
Google Search Console
This site uses Google Search Console, a Google service that reports how its pages appear in Google Search results, such as the searches that showed a page and how often it was clicked. Search Console is connected to the site through a verification tag or DNS record. Neither runs a script or sets a cookie in your browser, and the reports contain search data that Google provides about the site as a whole.
Hosting and security
The site is delivered through Cloudflare. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare receives that request, including your IP address and browser details, in order to deliver the page and protect the site against abuse. Cloudflare's privacy policy says it "processes data on behalf of its Customers pursuant to their data processing instructions"; see the Cloudflare privacy policy for how it handles that data.
Fonts
Pages use typefaces served by Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google's servers, and like any web request that request includes your IP address and browser details. Google explains how it handles these requests in the Google Fonts FAQ.
Messages you send
If you email info@minutes-to-decimal.com, your message and email address are used only to reply to you and are kept only as long as needed to deal with your request.
Sharing
This site does not sell or rent personal information. Information is shared only with the service providers named on this page, as described above, or where the law requires it.
Children
The site is a general-purpose reference tool and is not directed at children under 13. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Consent and where you live
This site does not show a cookie banner or ask for your consent before Google Analytics sets its cookies. Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you rights over analytics cookies and over data held about you; the rules in the European Union and the United Kingdom are examples. This policy does not claim that the site meets every requirement that could apply to you.
You can refuse analytics yourself at any time using the choices below, and you can write to info@minutes-to-decimal.com with any request about your data.
Your choices
- Block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the converters do not need them.
- Use the opt-out add-on to switch off Google Analytics in your browser.
- Ask for a copy of, or the deletion of, any message you have sent by writing to info@minutes-to-decimal.com.
Changes to this policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. The terms of service and the About page describe how the site works and how its content is checked.
